ABOUT US
A Healthier Me – Monthly Community Health & Resource Fair is a San Diego–based public health initiative founded in 2017 by Suzanne Afflalo, MD to reduce preventable chronic disease and improve access to care in underserved communities.
Each month, we transform a local venue into a free, comprehensive health hub serving hundreds of families with life-saving preventive services.

Mission Statement
Mission
To improve the overall health of underserved communities in San Diego by controlling or preventing chronic diseases (High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Obesity).
Vision
TO SAVE LIVES, by decreasing the number of strokes and heart attacks (cardiovascular events), which would decrease the incidence of heart disease and deaths among African Americans.
